Summer Concert  – On the Nature of Daylight- a Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra concert on the 13th July 2024 

The concert starts at 7.30 p.m.

The RFODO will be performing at  St. Paul’s Church, Parkend. Gloucestershire. GL15 4HL

 

Bill Anderton:  ‘La Folia’ – a new commission.

Max Richter: On The Nature Of Daylight

Mozart: Horn Concerto No. 3 in E flat Major KV 447 with our soloist Lydia Taylor.

Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 in C minor. Op. 67

Conductor: Fiona Crawley

Leader: Ros Taunton

 

Tickets at the door – £10  (free for children and for students in full time education and for Ukrainian guests).

Retiring collection: Parkend Primary School library fund.

07/09/24 The Planets workshop in St Mary’s Chepstow

30/11/24. Small group at Ross. Similar to last year. More details to follow

14/12/24. Winter concert. Details tbc

Saturday 12th April 2025. Spring Concert – St Peter’s Church, Newnham. Music by Skempton, Ravel, Dvorak

Saturday  5th July 2025. Summer Concert – St Mary’s Priory Church, Chepstow.

Saturday 13th December 2025. Christmas and Winter Concert – Coleford Baptist Church.

Saturday 4th July 2026. Carmen at St, Mary’s Church Chepstow. Soloists from RWCMD and new libretto by Euan Tait.
