In 2009, while pursuing her Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the Longy School of Music in the US, she also served as the assistant conductor of the Longy Chamber Orchestra and studied under Julian Pellicano, the Resident Conductor of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. After a 7-year stay in the US, she then continued her conducting studies in Switzerland. Throughout her conducting career and studies she had been selected to participate in several major conducting masterclasses including the Pierre Monteux School, and conducted professional orchestras such as the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra. She was also involved in several compositional projects including songwriting, film scoring and arranging music for orchestra and large chamber group. As a keen music educator, performer and conductor, her goal is to establish a professional orchestra in her native Hong Kong, and to provide a platform for local musicians and talented youths to perform and learn conducting professionally.
