Guest conductor Glyn Oxley, who took RFDO under his wing for 11 years, returned to take up the baton for this significant event. Founder members Ros Taunton (leader) and Liz Pritchard (principal cellist) cut the anniversary cake.

Lord Lieutenant Dame Janet Trotter made it a very special night with chairman of the Forest of Dean District Council Councillor Marrylin Smart, Mayor of Coleford Councillor Nick Penny and Deputy Lord Lieutenant Roger Deeks.
