Magnificent Cathedral of Forest midsummer concert by Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra under talented Jack Lovell’s baton – and guess who came to rescue of percussion section? Thank you to music degree vicar the Rev Sarah Bick who took up cymbals at a moment’s notice in Smetana opener – we were literally on a wing and a prayer! And thank you Pip Green for brilliant Mendelssohn Violin Concerto!
